Greek Chicken Marinade

Ingredients:

  • 1 package chicken breast or tenders
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (repeat on both sides)
  • 1/2 garlic powder (repeat on both sides)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper (repeat on both sides)
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano (repeat on both sides)
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional to repeat depending on your level of spice)
  • Directions:

      1. Place chicken in a dish you like to marinade in, preferably with a lid. We use our @corningware French White dish with plastic lid. Squeeze the juice of your lemon directly onto the chicken, then pour your olive oil directly on chicken.

      2. Then season your chicken with the dry ingredients. I like to season mine on both sides, but up to you. Typically I like to marinade for a couple of hours, but I have been shocked how delicious it turns out just marinating for about 20 minutes after work.

      3. Preheat your grill to a high heat. Then cook chicken for 6-8 minutes on both sides, depending on thickness of your breast.

      4. Serve along side a green salad, our golden couscous salad or with our broccli with bleu cheese and pine nuts.
